I have made more progress in 6 sessions with Kendyl than I have in years of talk therapy. Hypnotherapy is so cleansing, so therapeutic, so enlightening, and life changing.
If you’re on the fence about whether you should try hypnotherapy with Kendyl or not just do it! You will thank yourself and be so glad you did!
In other words, “I’ve got some baggage”, lol. I began our work with a good understanding of the baggage, how it accumulated, and even how to regulate myself when it reappears.
Nevertheless, Kendyl takes me deeper, guiding me to make associations and to choose symbols that, in daily life, reliably bring me back to the relaxed, balanced state of mind that we create in our sessions.
She has a knack for remembering not only the concept that I’ve expressed, but also the exact words I’ve used, from one session to another. In doing so, I’m often amazed to make connections, based on my own words, that I hadn’t seen before.
I’m grateful to Kendyl for the joy and authenticity during our sessions and the resources that I take away.
“Chronic illness—mental or physical—is to a large extent a function or feature of the way things are and not a glitch.” -Gabor Mate, The Myth of Normal
We are living in a world where chronic stress is the norm, and as a result, so is chronic illness. Functional Medicine shows us that the body is not just a set of symptoms, but rather an interconnected system that requires a holistic approach to staying in balance.
I was led to this form of medicine through my own struggle with chronic anxiety and depression. Little did I know my microbiome, hormones, and liver were completely out of balance, because the doctors my insurance covered never asked me about my diet, gut health, or anything to do with potential root causes. They just handed me a prescription, over and over again. In some cases, maybe this is the best solution, but when it’s the only option you’re given you have to wonder what the motivation is. Do corporations make more money when you fill your prescriptions, or when you balance yourself naturally?
Finally, I looked into other modalities, including Functional Medicine and hypnotherapy, and my anxiety and depression finally started to be manageable. Over time, I learned how to keep them in balance through a holistic lifestyle and eventually got training and schooling in these modalities so I could help others find relief from and ultimately grow from their chronic conditions. When you give yourself the time and space to get still, heal the areas of your subconscious that are impacting your symptoms, and balance your systems through lifestyle changes and Functional Medicine lab testing, change is possible.
We are the microcosm of the macrocosm. Transformation starts from within.
